  Allahumma laka summtu wa ala rizqika aftartu

اے اللہ میں نے تیرے لئے ہی روزہ رکھا اور تیرے ہی دئے ہوئے رزق سے افطار کیا

Three authentic duas to end fever quickly

Assalam-0-Alikum Brothers and Sisters in Islam. Today, I am going to share an authentic dua from hadith that will help remove fever and sickness provided that this dua is recited with firm belief in Allah(SWT) and His mercy.  If you are sick or anybody from you family is suffering from fever then this dua should recited for treatment. This dua has been derived from a Hadith in Abu Daud. 

Arabic Text of Dua

اَسْأَلُ اللّٰہَ الْعَظِیْمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ اَنْ یَّشْفِیَکَ

Transliteration of Dua

As-alallahul azeema rabbal arshil azeemi an yash-fiyak

What Time This Dua Should Be Recited? 

This dua should be recited preferbaly after namaz times. The best time for the acceptance of duas is during Tahajjud time. If you do not wake up for tahajjud prayer, then this dua should be recited after every obligatory prayer. Make a habit of reciting this dua whenever you are sick or stricken with fever. 

Second Authentic Dua For Treatment of Fever/Sickness:

There is another dua that should be recited during the time of fever and sickness. This dua is also from Hadith. Narrated by Aisha RA (May Allah be pleased with her), Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him used to recite Surah Falaq and Surah Naas when he felt sick or had fever.

Surah Falaq Arabic Text: 

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ﴿١﴾ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢﴾ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣﴾ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ﴿٤﴾ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥

Surah Falaq Transliteration: 

(113/1) Kul aoozu bi raabbil falaak(falaakı). (113/2) Min sharri mea haalaak(haalaakaa). (113/3) Va min sharri geasikın izea vakaab(vakaaba). (113/4) Va min sharrin naffeaseati feel ukaad(ukaadi). (113/5) Va min sharri heasidin izea haasad(haasada).

Surah Nas Arabic Text: 

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ﴿١﴾ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ﴿٢﴾ إِلَهِ النَّاسِ ﴿٣﴾ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ﴿٤﴾ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ﴿٥﴾ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ ﴿٦

Surah Nas Transliteration: 

(114/1) Kul aoozu bi raabbin neas(neasi). (114/2) Malikin neas(neasi). (114/3) Ileahin neas(neasi). (114/4) Min sharril vasveasil haanneas(haanneasi). (114/5) Allazee yuvasvisu fee sudoorin neas(neasi). (114/6) Minal cinnati van neas(neasi).

Recite these duas whenever you or any of your relative is sick. By the grace and mercy of Allah(SWT), all sickeness will go away. May Allah be your guide and helper.

Dua for Better Health

Islamic Dua/Prayer For Better Health:

There is no better blessing than health in this world. Every day, millions of people die off diseases and illness and there are millions of people who struggle everyday to recover from illnesses. Below is an Islamic dua for gaining, regaining better health. This dua is from Sahih Hadith and should be recited until the symptoms of better health begin to appear. However, please note that people with chronic diseases should complement their physical treatment with this dua to get better results.

اَللَّھُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اَذْھِبَ الْبَأسِ وَاشْفِ اَنْتَ الشَّافِی لاَ شِفَائََ اِلاَّ

شِفَاؤُکَ شِفَائً لاَ یُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Transliteration: Allahumma rabban-naasi azhibal ba'si washfi antash-shaafi laa shifaa-a illa shifa-uka shifaa-an-laa yughaadiru saqama

English Translation: O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove my suffering. Heal me as You are the only Healer, and there is no healing/cure except that of Yours, it is that which leaves no ailment behind

Hindi/Urdu translation in Roman: Ay Allah. Logon ke Rabb. Takleef ko door farma de. Tu shifa day de, or Tu hi shifa denay wala he.

What to Do To Get Your Duas Accepted Fast:

There is an exact science of how the prayers/duas are accepted. Duas recited and done with pure belief in the powers of Almighty Allah (SWT) and gratitude have been shown to manifest results better.  Make Dua to Allah(SWT) as if He has already accepted your prayer. Do maximum gratitude in advance and you will soon have dua accepted.

Best Dua For Shifa

Being a Muslim, it should be our firm belief that both illness and shifa are a form of test from Allah and we in both instances should ask for His Mercy. Below is an authentic dua from a Sahi Hadith on Shifa. Constant recitation of this dua with pure heart and belief will alleviate illness and bring good health. This dua can remove all physical, psychological and mental ailments.

Is There any specific Time For Reciting This Dua?

No. There is no specific time or occasion for reading this dua. You can continue to read this dua thtoughout the day until the sickness is gone. 

Is There any Count For This?

No. You don’t have to keep the count for achieve specific number. This dua can be recited countless and multiple times until the problem is solved.

Dua after sinning

This dua from Quran is a must if you think you have committed a serious sin. Not only after committing a particular sin, we should seek forgiveness from Allah on a regular basis as we never know where and when we are wrong. So make this dua part of your daily recitation. 

Dua when making/committing sin with Arabic and Urdu translation

Transliteration: 

Rabbana zalamna anfusana. Wa-in lamm taghfir-lana wa-tarhamna lanakoonanna minal khasireen

English Translation: 

"Our Lord ! We have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers"

Doing istaghfar all the time is what is needed if we want prosperity, peace and blessings from Allah because it is our mistakes that keep us in trouble. If you have committed a sin and are worried about the outcome, stop worrying and be grateful that Allah hasn't prevented you from benefiting from astaghfar and it is a great chance to review our conduct and repair the damage before it is too late. So first of all, say thanks to Allah for permitting you to do astaghfar. Be grateful that Allah usually does not catch us for our wrongdoing during the time we make sins as He gives us chances because His mercy encompasses all things. 

Dua for protection from curses

Here is a very powerful dua from Hadith that can give you complete protection from curses. Curses, either verbal ones or in the form of thoughts and feelings, must be avoided at all costs and what's better than a dua that Prophet Peace Be Upon Him Himself recommended?

In order to get protection from curses using this Dua, you must know that Allah wants us to have full faith in Him and His powers. When we recite this dua with complete faith in our heart that Allah is definitely going to protect us from evil curses, then miracles will happen.

This dua has been mentioned in Hadith and is recommended to recite in the morning and evening times. However, whenever you are faced with a situation that is frightening and beyond your control, you can recite it. 

Transliteration: Bismillahil Lazi La Yadurru Ma-asmihi Shai-un Fil Ardi Wala Fis-Sama-e Wahuwas-Samee-ul-Aleem

English Translation: "In the name of Allah, whose name is mentioned nothing on Earth or in Heaven can cause harm , and He is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing."

In order to make the most of this beautiful dua, you must believe that Allah has power over all things, and calamities, natural disasters like earth quake or any other life-threatening event is also the creation of Allah. Nothing is beyond Allah so the protection also comes through Allah. 

Dwell on the meaning of this dua and imagine yourself being protected by Allah when you recite it. 

Dua to avoid and reduce fear

How to cure and avoid fear in Islam? Here is a very beautiful dua that should be recited and pondered upon when wanting to remove all sorts of fear in your heart. This Dua has been mentioned in Hadith and has numerous benefits for this dunya and akhira.

Transliteration: La Hawla Wala Quwwata Illa Billa Hil Aliyyil Azeem

English translation: There is no power and no strength except through Allah

In order to get the desired benefits from this powerful dua, you must understant its meaning and then dwell on the meaning. Do some scientific and technical analysis of why Allah has the power and why we humans and all the created things in universe have no power at all. Don't just recite ! ponder over it deeply. 

Dua to avoid and control jealousy

Is there a dua in Quran to control and avoid jealousy?

Allah has given us Quran that has cure to every worldly evil that harms us and rob us of our eeman. Reciting the dua I mentioned below, dwelling on its meaning and believing that Allah has power over all its creation and the evil of its creation, you will see your jealousy fade away Inshallah.

Transliteration: Rabbi Auzubika min hamazaatish-shayateeni wa-auzubika rabbi an yahzuroon
English translation: My Lord ! I seek refuge in You from suggestions of the evil ones, And I seek refuge in You from their presence around me Since jealousy is usually caused by Shayateen (devils in the form of djinn and even humans bent on mischief) to cause distress and harm human relationships. It is easy for an unsuspecting person to fall into the trap of jealousy. You may be the victim of someone's jealousy, but it is equally disastrous if you create jealousy for that jealous person in return as today's society thrives on competition, showoff, and using status symbol to assert authority.  
You can also recite Surah Falaq to counter jealous feelings. 

Dua to avoid zina

Is there a Dua in Quran to avoid zina and get protection from it? 
Surah Falaq itself is a dua which covers all the worldly evils that never miss a chance to attack us and rob us of our connection to Allah. The second verse of Surah Falaq "Min sharri ma khalaq" means that "I seek refuge (of Allah) from the mischief/evil of all created things." Zina, too, falls under the category of all created things by Allah and it is there to test our patience, willpower and gratitude. 

Reciting Surah Falaq and Surah Naas and dwelling on their meaning can give us the upper hand over anything that may pull us toward zina. Whenever you encounter a situation where it is hard to avoid zina and you find no protection from it, start reciting these two powerful Surahs (which are actually dua gifted to Prohpet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him by Allah)

Dua and wazifa to get more customers and buyers

Dua-wazifa to get more customers: You are probably running your own business or working as a sales agent or sales manager, and it sometimes gets a bit disappointing during dull days when you get a fewer number of customers/buyers or little sale. We must put our trust in Allah and what Islam teaches in every instance and every situation. 

*Choose fajar and Asr time (do this wazifa/dua two times a day)
*Sit in a quite place where nobody can disturb you
*Continue this dua-wazifa for 21 days without any gap (You will see your sales go up Inshallah and best of all it will not be just money -it will be full of barakah by Allah's will)

1. Recite "Astaghfirullah" 1000 times
How to recite: Seek forgiveness for all mistakes, sins. See forgiveness for all mistakes, arrogance, negligence, ego-worship in your financial matters/job. Do astaghfar on not spending money on the needy. Do astaghfar on wasting time (everybody wastes time on TV, news, useless talkshows, Facebook, friends, useless gossips). Do astaghfar on not doing shukr on existing/present blessings and favors Allah has done you. Astaghfar on being ungrateful or ignorant of Allah's favours (There are unlimited favours Allah is constantly doing us, but we are too selfish to acknowledge them)

2. Recite "Alhamdulillah" 1000 times
How to recite: Thank Allah for all blessings right now. Just forget about how little customer base you have, just focus on your existing business presence. At least you have a business or job. At least you are earning money to put food on table. At least you get a certain number of customers and buyers coming to your shop/business (imagine you had no customer or buyer at all. Just thank Allah for these customers who are coming to you. Forget about how many are there for now. Just Thank). At least you are healthy enough to go to work on a regular basis (imagine you fall sick for months. Can you work in that condition?). At least you are not living on streets or on loans/funds (imagine life as a homeless person). At least you are living in a country where violence/bloodshed does not keep you from taking part in day-to-day business or economic activity.

Dua to alleviate stress, anxiety and grief

Powerful Dua: Stress, grief and anxiety can rob us of our well-being, spiritual health and physical health. The dua mentioned below has been quoted in the books of hadith and it is very powerful when it comes to averting feelings of stress and grief in times of difficulty.

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum bi rahmatika astagheeth meaning and arabic text

English translation: "O Living, O Sustaining, in Your mercy, I seek relief"

English transliteration: "Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyoomu bi-Rahmatika as-tagheeth"

This dua has been mentioned in Tirmidhi, narrated by Anas Ibn Malik (May Allah be pleased with him). Whenever  distress or grief befell Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him, He would recite this dua (as the hadith mentions - Tirmidhi Sunan 3600).

Dua-wazifa for increase in salary

This dua and wazifa for increase in salary revolves around two basic guidelines Islam has taught us through Quran and Hadees - Astaghfar and Shukr (Thankfulness) You have probably been praying hard for a long time now and there seems no hope. 

1) Do it twice a day - after fajr and asr time 

2) Sit in a quite place so you can focus on your dua/wazifa 

3) Recite "Astaghfirullah" 1000 times. 
How to recite Astaghfirullah: Do astaghfar on laziness, sins, negligence, ego, cursing people for their success, creating jealousy in your heart for other or coworkers (even if you think you are sinless or innocent, do astaghfar as our ego makes us think that deserve things because we are entitled. Do astaghfar on wasting time in the past and present. Do astaghfar for not relying on Allah and only relying on created things like technical expertise, professionalism and talent. 

4) Recite "Alhamdulillah" 1000 times. 
How to recite Alhamdulillah: Give thanks to Allah for giving you life (air, to breath, Earth, Sun and universe), give thanks for your health, give thanks for your job and all the previous jobs. Also, give thanks for your current salary (no matter how much it is right now, just recite Alhamdulillah for it multiple times), give thanks to Allah for all your employers, coworkers, learning process, your education and teachers who taught you to read and write. Thank Allah for saving you from poverty, hunger, chronic illness. Thank Allah for making you jobless as there are many people who are making less than $1 a day in places like Pakistan and India. Thank Allah for the food, clothes, and other things as without your current salary is making a lot of contribution in keeping you in better condition. 

Note: Being thankful for our existing and current blessings pleases Allah so much and this creates miracle. 

"If you are grateful, I will surely increase you," Surah Ibrahim 14:7  

Dua-wazifa for job promotion

Job promotion becomes very important when an employee sees his expenses climb and inflation makes it hard to pay for basic necessecities. This wazifa is powerful and can turn your low-income job into an avenue full of money and that too with barakah, which is something money alone can't do. 

*Do this wazifa after Fajr and Asr and two times a day
*Sit in a quite place so your focus should be entirely on Allah
* Continue this dua/wazifa for 21 days without any break

Step 1 # Recite "Astaghfirullah" 1000 times 

How to recite: Doing astaghfar for your job issue is very important as we don't know what may have been causing blockage in our job promotion. We might have cursed money and blessings in the past and now we are stuck. We might have shown laziness during our early days and now when expenses and inflation is troubling us, we are confused. We might have wasted time, which is a mistake. The point is, there could be many mistakes and negligence. So, accepting and admitting our mistakes/errors is the  first step. Make a list of your weaknesses, mistakes and acts of laziness and keep this list with you while reciting Astaghfar. 

Step 2 : Recite "Alhamdulillah" 1000 times

How to recite: When you recite Alhamdulillah, don't just recite empty words. You have thank Allah for your job. Thank Allah for the money He has given you so far. Thank Allah for all the luxuries and comfort you have gained due to this job and all your past jobs. Thank Allah for your employers (no matter how rude or strict they are). Thank Allah for causing you to do astaghfar because without it you would not be able to review yourself and your performance. 

In Quran Allah has said: If you are grateful, I will surely increase you" (Surah Ibrahim 14:7)

Dua to sell property quickly

Dua for sale of house or if you want to sell your property quickly: This dua can be recited if you are struggling to sell your property.

There are several issues related to the sale of property or house and they often become a stumbling block in your being able to turn your asset into cash. This dua can work like a miracle for you if you recite it with full trust in Allah.

This dua has proven to work when odds are against people. The sheer power of the dua lies in your letting og of your ego and putting your complete trust in Allah's ability and power. 

Miracles happen and they happen all the time, but it is our own limiting belief and lack of trust and faith in Allah's capability. 

This is ironic as on one hand we claim to believe in Allah, while on the other hand, we judge Allah's ability through our own limited lenses, which only creates a limited image of Allah's power, mercy and His intelligence which is infinite (even if we believe it or not - it will remain a fact). 

If you can practially think of something under Allah's control and reach and hold that belief in your prayer/dua, Allah will definitely give you solution in that regard Inshallah.

Keep reciting this dua repeatedly, dwelling on the meaning of it. When you dwell on the words and meaning, focus on how much importance you give to Allah in your mind. Do you think Allah has what it takes to accept your dua? How much grateful I will be once Allah listens to my prayer/dua?

Dua for making impossible tasks and work possible

Dua for making something impossible completely possible: This Dua is powerful as it can turn your impossible tasks into possible ones by the will of Allah. If you are dealing with an impossible work or things, you can repeatedly recite this dua or until you feel confident.

Recite this Dua as often as you can, especially after your regular Salah. In addition, recite it 100 times and dwell on the meaning of it

Transliteration: Bismillahi ya badee-al ajaa-ibi bil-khairi ya badee

English translation: "O Allah ! my desire is impossible to me, but not to you. Please make this impossible possible with a miracle"

Impossible Hajat or wish: If you have an impossible hajat which you think is beyond you or it is practically not possible to get it, you can totally put your trust in this dua as it will mean putting your trust in Allah, His unlimited power, His infinite intelligence and his never-ending mercy.

Impossible Tasks/work: There are times when you find yourself stuck and getting your tasks done seems like an insurmountable obstacle. This dua is powerful when it comes to finding the right solution and getting tasks done effortlessly.

To get satisfactory results from this dua:

1) Complete belief:

You must have complete and unwavering belief and trust in Allah's ability to make your impossible hajat or work possible as He has complete control over everything existing in the universe. If doubts or evil suggestions try to enter your mind, just take a few breaths and in your mind, ask yourself this simple question: Don't I believe in Allah's ability, power and mercy? Or Is my task or hajat bigger than Allah's power and mercy?

2) Give thanks and gratitude 

Allah loves His praise and appreciation. Start giving thanks to Allah for the favours He is doing you. Give gratitude to Allah also for this dua you have found on this blog as Allah brought you here on purpose. Give thanks by repeatedly saying "Alhamdulillah" verbally and in you r heart.

Dua for protection from grave punishment (azab e qabr)

Dua for protection from grave punishment (azab e qabr): Grave punishment (azab e qabr) is often mentioned in Ahadith and it is important for all Muslims to pay attention to the instructions and guidelines that these Ahadith outline so that we can protect ourselves from grave punishment and pain.

Qabar Dua in Arabic with English translation and tralisteratio: This Dua (from hadith - Sahih Bukhari 1/202) has been shortened to make it easier for you to learn it and memorise as the remaining part of the Dua is related to protection from Dajjal (False Masih), and trials of life. So this part focuses on what you are looking for.

Translation: "O Allah ! I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave"

Transliteration: Allahumma inni auzubika min azaabil qabr

Many people get into unnecessary arguments over why grave punishment is not mentioned in Quran. They try to undermine Ahadith thinking if something not mentioned in Quran should not be taken seriously, however, Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him has warned us of grave punishment and told us a very beautiful dua to save us from the torment and suffering.
