A self-proclaimed mufti from Pakistan has made a shocking statement about the relationships between girlfriend and boyfriend in a Muslim society. Mufti Abdul Qawi made a brief video and gave a "fatwa", saying he thinks a boy can establish several Nikah-based relationships with girlfriends in addition to his regular marriage.
One regular marriage that is done publicly and a number of nikahs (on the side) can be possible if "we have to put an end to Zina." I am disgusted by what he has said. Can somebody send him to a mental hospital?

Mumtaz Qadri was given a chance to see his family before his hanging. The meeting was arranged late night under a strict security as police had escorted some of the family members of Mumtaz Qadri to Adiala Jail where they met and shared their final memories. Mumtaz gave his last message to the family and even recited his favourite naat that he often recited during his detention.

Speaking to a private news outlet, Mumtaz Qadri's brother Malik Dilpazir said the family had no idea what was going to happen because all they knew the punishment was on hold and there was sign of execution at all. "A team of security personnel that included police came to our house and asked us to go meet Mumtaz," told Malik Dilpazir. Qadri's brother said "this raised our doubts" because the family knew it wasn't a usual meeting as whenever the officials wanted them to come see Mumtaz was only when he had to be admitted to hospital for medical treatment or checkups. "This was the point that we know something was going on and the government is hiding the facts," Malik said.

I got my hands on this amateur video that went viral. It is easy to see a shoe hit Pervaiz Rasheed on the back of his head with a little bang. Due to a tight security and an already-tight inspection being praticed at every single airport of the country, the protesters could not enter in a large number, but a handful did manage to get in.

A countrywide protest is being observed but the overall situation has been under control since the hanging. The religious factions should be praised for maintain peace and not resorting to violent protests as the result of the punishment because the situation could have worsened if religious parties mobilised their workers. Security forces and administration should be appreciated for that.

There is a lot of debate over whether Mumtaz Qadri should have been hanged or not, but I got my hands on the news about the last words of Mumtaz Qadri from Adyala Jail. Mumtaz Qadri, who was hanged to death in Adiala Jail this morning, was allowed a brief meeting with some of his family members. Mumtaz Qadri reportedly spent the whole night reciting The Holy Quran. Jail authorities present at the cell told Mumtaz had been chatting to Jail guards and prayed for them too.

What do you think of Qadri's hanging? I am a bit double-minded because I have piles of murder case examples where we saw influential killers got off easy as the court did not dare to hang them. I think there is going to be a lot of questions regarding this particular case. One thing, justice should also be served but it should cover every single convict.





What about the case of Shahrukh Jatoi who killed an innocent boy in Karachi just because he was challenged after being stopped from molesting the slain boy's sister. Where is the justice? If we treat murders with different criteria, these things will keep happening.

What the hell ! I have never seen Saeed Anwar in such an aggressive mode. What has gone wrong? The video tells the whole story. Former Pakistani star batsman Saeed Anwar has lashed out at PTI chairman Imran Khan, saying the cricketer-turned-politician's claims to rebuild Pakistan are bogus because he was not even able to save his marriage. It is not known whether Saeed Anwar, who is now a Tablighi jamat activist, referred to his second marriage that saw him divorce Reham Khan. Imran Khan's first marriage to Jamaima Khan ended right after he started his political career.
Saeed Anwar and Imran Khan have spent time together as team mates in early 1990's, but why Anwar decided to slam Imran is unknown. We don't even know what made the former righthanded batsman angry with the PTI chairman as he is known to have stayed away from mainstream media and political comments. We hope that Imran Khan won't mind his once-close-friend lashing out at him as his political activism keeps him busy in far more important issues.

Army Man Rescues The Student From Bacha Khan University

It was another dark day in the history of Pakistan as the militants stormed the Bacha Khan university in Charsada, Peshawar. It was the worst attack after the tragic APS attack which resulted in loss of 144 lives in December 2014. This attacked claimed 44 lives including several injured. A quick counter from Pakistan army minimized the loss of lives and many students were safely rescued from the sight. One video was released that shows a army jawan rescuing the young university student from the campus. 

The mastermind of Army Public School attack, Umar Mansoor accepted the responsibility of the attack through a Facebook post. He stated that four terrorists were sent to the campus to carry out the killing spree. Pakistan has another day to mourn and PM has announced the black day on Thursday.

This girl wants to marry Altaf Hussain and expressed her wish on a live television. The MQM leader has recently come under severe pressure for his alleged involvement in the criminal and terrorist activities. Whatever the reputation this unusual man is, this girl remains unwavering in her intent. 

She is a teen aged girl who seems to be a big fan of Altaf Hussain's political ideology and did not shy away from expressing her wish. I don't know whether Altaf Bhai knows about this proposal that went on air. Altaf Hussain is a father to only daughter and her ex wife Faiza Gabol got divorced from him. 

The rumors are that Hussain did not enjoy a good marital life and her ex wife revealed that he was battling some very serious psychological and mental issues. He would stay up all night and ask his wife to do the same. He would sing her the songs and deliver speeches on extempore. 

I don't know the authenticity of this rumors but it is clear that marriage is not on the mind of Altaf anymore especially considering the developing story in Karachi that is certainly unfavorable to the political party he founded some thirty years ago. 

Altaft started his politics from Univeristy of Karachi where he founded APMSO, the now student wing of MQM that still operates in the public and private universities of the metropolis. My advice to this girl is that she should keep her hopes alive.
