6 Year Old Girl Rescued From The Magician's Trap

Pakistan still lacks proper education and training to be called an educated society. There are instances of ignorance that evoke shock and astonishment. People in rural areas particularly are very superstitious and they can make the sacrifice of their daughter to gain some supernatural powers. Such an incident in the rural area when a filthy and wanna-be magician adopted the girl in order to make a similar ritual of sacrifice.

The girl was buried alive for two consecutive days in the graveyard only to return to the original parents. The girl was shocked and not normal but her parents gave her the confidence and she told the story.  It is not just the lack of education but loss of basic morality and sense that leads to such incidents.

Such incidents continue to happen throughout the year every now and then but it still fails to budge the ruling elite at all who should change their priorities and invest more into education than anything else. Education and health are the two areas where our national budget should go more than any other area.

Are we still living in the dark ages or pre-Islamic age when the tribal men used to bury their newly born daughters. Plus, there are no laws or accountability for such moral criminals such as black magicians and others involved into dark arts. In my opinion, there should be legislation on this too but it still seems to be a far fetched thing. We have a long way to go in order to be recognized as an educated society unfortunately.

Adopted Girl Was Not Dead But Still Buried

We are still a backward society where there are various issues at individual and social level. Even in this age of technology and information, we seem to be living in the dark ages. The lack of education seems to be major impediment in the progress of our country. It is not just limited to rural areas but there are open manifestations of stupidity even in  the urban cities.

The governments have a role to play in this spread of stupidity and ignorance. The political elite of our country does not want the ordinary and poor lot to be educated which is why they keep spending on building roads and bridges without any attention to the development of human resource and educated Pakistanis which is only possible through education.

Poverty compels poor parents to donate their children especially daughters to other relatively financially stronger people and this is what happened in this case. The poor parents gave their only daughter of just 6 years old to their neighbors.

It remains unknown whether the parents knew the trade of the man who had adopted the daughter. He was a black magician and into cult activities and dark sciences.  The man started his ritual by giving the girl some drugs which made her unconscious.

Under this pretext, he declared that the girl is sick and might die without letting the people know the original motive behind this filthy act.  Claiming that the girl is dead while she was clearly not does land the magician in any trouble. The reason was simple: the villagers were as uneducated and superstitious as this man.

The magician had adopted the girl in order to perform the dark ritual which was intended to give this filthy man some supernatural powers. The girl was buried into the grave without people knowing that she was not dead, just had fallen unconscious due to the drug dose.

Yemen battle: Saudi Arabia army repels Houthi rebels

Saudi Arab and allies have dealt a severe blow to advancing Houthi rebels in Yemen as the latest confrontation has seen some massive air-strikes that forced rebel group to evacuate the Presidential Palace in Aden. A series of air-strikes kept Houthi fighters from keeping a grip on their latest success that saw them overrun Presidential Palace. The rebel fighters left the area without facing much loss. The recent escalation started Friday, with Saudi fighter jets targeting key spots seized by rebels.
A United Nation (UN) report has said that more than 500 people have been killed in the fight that has gone on for the past two weeks. On the other hand, Turkey has reached out to Saudi Arabia and allies, promising full support in the battle against Yemen rebels. Houthis appear to be slipping away.
Yemen war Urdu news: Saudi Arab Army and Iran's at cold war
There has been a lot of talk about where the ongoing crisis will go and to make matters worse, Turkey also has jumped in.

Though Saudi forces do not need outside support, there is a possibility that Houthi rebels will be forced to retreat and give Arab allies a chance to regain their foothold in Yemen as there is likely rapprochement and political deal among Yemeni factions. The deal might be brokered by International community, but things look a bit difficult as Iran is believed to be covertly supplying rebels with strategic support.

Should Pakistan jump in? Well, they have already decided to jump in. I don't think Saudis want Pakistan Army on ground in Yemen because they know they can handle the crisis on their own right. And if worst comes to worst, they can always call their friends like Pakistan and Turkey. So far, Iran appears to be backing away and it has received a strong message from Arab alliance that Middle East is not going to tolerate an Iran-backed regime in any country after what they have been through in Syria.

UAE: Emirates Identity Authority to pick language for website, Urdu included

UAE (United Arab Emirates)'s Identity Authority is seeking to include the third language to its website, and Urdu is among the four languages being considered to be picked. In addition to Urdu being under consideration, there are Malayalam of India, Mandarin and Tagalog of Philippines.

The website of Emirates Identity Authority is conducting a poll and the plan is to pick the third language in addition to English and Arabic. So are you ready to see Urdu being the language added to UAE Identity Authority website.

Here is the UAE government website poll: Poll Here

Urdu, without a doubt, it one of the most spoken languages in the entire Middle East, especially UAE, mainly because of tens of thousands of Pakistanis working there and the language has proved itself to be among the fastest growing languages in recent years.

Although India's Malayalam apparently seems a bigger language than Urdu in terms of number of people speaking that particular language, Urdu shares a lot in common with Arabic, the language spoke in UAE. After English and Arabic, Urdu, I think, can attract votes the most votes because it is not just Pakistan that has people belonging to Urdu, but several Indian cities has Urdu-speaking population. Muslim states like UP and Bihar speak Urdu and expatriates from these parts are in UAE in large numbers.
