India came into the T20 world cup as the favorites for the title but today their chances looked bleak as New Zealand spinners wrecked the strong Indian batting line-up. Indian batsmen failed to achieve the tiny target of 127. Brandon McCullum sat out the two fast bowlers and instead played spinners and his gamble paid off in style. Failing to achieve the total of 127 has certainly questioned Indian batsmen credentials as the strongest in the world. Thanks to the dry pitch, Kiwi batsmen also struggled and could not put up a healthy total.
