Rules of Doing a Wazifa Explained in Detail
Are there any set rules and conditions of doing a wazifa?
Yes there are. Anybody who is willing to
do wazifa for any hajat must abide by these rules or the entire activity of
doing wazifa may backfire and harm the person doing the wazifa.
Legitimacy of Hajat/Wish for Which Wazifa is
Being Done:
The first and most important rule of doing a wazifa is that
your hajat/wish/desire/goal should be legitimate and in line with the basic
Islamic teachings. For example, doing a wazifa to get a girlfriend or marrying
the person who is already married or causing a divorce between a happy couple
is an outright violation of basic Islamic morality. Stay away from engaging in
such wazifas.
Correct Recitation:
It is important that you recite the Quranic verse/Allah’s
name correctly. If done wrongly, then wazifas will backfire instead of doing
any good.
Praying 5 Times A Day and other Obligations:
It is necessary that you pray 5 times a day with punctuality
and also strictly obey other Islamic obligations such as fasting in the month
of Ramadan, giving Zakat and feeding the poor and orphans.
Halal Income:
Your earning should be 100 percent halal and legit and must
not violate any Islamic ruling. Stay
away from Haram ways of earning, most importantly Ribaa (Interest).
Maintain Cleanliness of Body:
One must try to be in a state of Wuddu(ablution)
throughout the day. It will help purify our souls and get our duas/wazifas
accepted quickly.
Doing Gratitude
You must be grateful to Allah(SWT) for the life
He has given you and all the blessings. Remember, there is law of gratitude in
place. Any blessing you are grateful for, Allah will increase it.
Doing repentance and astaghfar:
It is necessary to ask Allah forgiveness for the
sins/errors we have committed intentionally or unintentionally.
Dress Properly:
It is necessary that you dress properly
especially for women to cover themselves well. Any dress that violates any
Islamic tenant should be avoided and not worn.
Belief in Oneness of Allah (Tawheed
Belief in Allah’s oneness is essential. Associating
partners with Allah (Shirk) has to be avoided at all costs whether it is done intentionally
or unintentionally.
Have Faith in the Mercy of Allah(SWT):
Anybody who is disappointed with Allah’s mercy
is akin to person accursed by Satan. Believe in Allah’s mercy and His Help will
arrive from all directions.
Don’t Overdo:
It is important to understand that if you overdo
certain wazifa, it may have negative impact on your spiritual health. Avoid
people who give long wazifas and chillas. Complement your wazifa with astaghfar
and gratitude and see how fast the results manifest.
Do wazifas from Quran:
It is better that you do wazifas from Quranic
verses and avoid using all other wazifas that involve unfamiliar chants because there are a lot of charlatans
who masquerade as Muslims but are involved in Shirkiya wazifas. Recite Duas and
Verses as suggested by our beloved Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
Read Durood as much as possible
Read Durood-e-Ibrahimi as much as possible for
this will make it easier for your wazifa to work.
