Each weather has its own impact on our skins. Many a people
face the problem of having rough and often worn out skin in winters. While that
is the problem but there are several easy and doable totkas/remedies to
overcome this recurring problem in the winter. The people with bad eating and sleeping habits
are the worst hit of this problem. There are a lot of cold creams that claim to
save the face from dryness and worn-out look but below are the natural remedies
and totkas through which you can keep your skin as beautiful and good looking
in the winters as you do in the summer and throughout the year.
Lemon: The daily use
of lemon (or its paste) on the skin is extremely beneficial to the skin. Take
1-2 lemons. Slice them and use it on your face.
It helps your skin look clean and fresh even in the most dry weather.
Potato: The use of potato will also benefit your cause. Its
juice will help keep skin fresh and cool. On top of that, it also brightens and
makes the skin complexion fair.
Daar Cheeni (Cinnamon): This is a gift from Allah. It keeps
the skin from drying for long periods. Make a paste of cinnamon and apply this
on skin.
Cucumber Juice: Make cucumber juice and mix it with pure
honey. Once done, apply it on skin and it will shine like never before.
Egg Whites: The use
of egg white is also recommended but this should be used once or twice in a
week as constant exposure of skin to it may cause different skin problems.
Papaya (Papeeta): The use of papaya is also helpful in this
regard. Mix it with milk and apply its
paste on the skin once in three days to get the best results.
Almond (Badam): Mix almond with milk and use it to make your
skin fair and overcome dryness problem for good.
Multani Mitti: Multani mitti’s paste is also beneficial to
the skin and should be used regularly to get maximum results.
Please try all of the above totkas and observe which one is
working very well for you. Don’t overuse any of the totka. Use as deemed
beneficial.
