Shahid Afridi wanted to do second marriage and still go for it but he cannot do due to his first wife. He says his first wife has given a lot of sacrifice and this is what impeding him from doing the second marriage. The second marriage in our sub-continent culture is often seen in a negative light and first wives reject and oppose this idea very strongly. They don't want their love to be shared with another woman.

Afridi has retired from ODI and Test cricket and will only take part in T20 competitions. He will retire probably after the T20 world cup in 2016.
