The wait is finally over as Muhammad Aamir has market his comeback in the competitive cricket. He came onto the ground for a competitive domestic grade 2 game almost after 5 years. He is representing Omar Associates, a Karachi based team.
He made his comeback with a style in game and took 3 wickets in 3 overs. So he is back with a bang. He cannot play international cricket at the moment. The young talented guy will automatically be the first choice for the Pakistan cricket team.
His absence at the international stage can be felt. Grade 2 is a 4-day domestic match format and his 3 wickets has put his team in the strong position to win the game. In a post day interview, Amir said he was happy to return to competitive cricket.
He said he's concentrating on fitness and will use these domestic to improve his match fitness and performances. He also told that he has some goals that he will achieve with the passage of time.
The young prodigy thanked his supports, parents and coaches who supporter throughout the rough he has been through due to the involvement in spot fixing. The other two partners in crime Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif are gone for good but this lad has still time left to represent Pakistan at the highest level.
I am hoping that he turns out to be clean and nice boy and concentrates only on cricket. That will do him and us proud considering the enormous natural talent he has. The world will obviously be scared once he comes back on the international stage.
