Rohingya and Muslims in Myanmar (Burma)

Pakistan media has eventually given some coverage to Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar (Burma) after a series of social media campaigns. Social media of Pakistan has been abuzz with stories from Myanmar, though there are fake pictures being circulated. That is a bit of relief.
Atrocities and violence have left several Rohingyas dead and even more displaced. People who had the opportunity to escape found ships and boats as their last shelter but getting trapped in waters for weeks without food and humanitarian aid was something no Muslim country had time to pay attention to.

Neelum Munir facebook fans annoy her

Neelum Muneer is begging the Pakistani audience to stop using her name on social media for their petty interests and she thinks it is now time to voice her concerns. Neelum Munir is a well-known and artist who has appeared on several TV dramas, but there are apparently thousands of fake Facebook pages that run under her name. Neelum has begged people to stop fooling themselves into thinking that these fake ID are real.

"These ID's have nothing to do with me. I only have one official Facebook account," Neelum declares in her video.
Neelum rose to fame after working in a series of dramas aired on popular channels like GEO, ARY and HUM TV and her facebook page is having a large audience that keeps a passionate eye on her activities. But unfortunately, fake id's are a real nightmare in Pakistani social media as people use the names of popular figures for interaction and it sometimes annoys those whose names are misused.
