Do Wazifas Really Work? Should We Do It?
A lot of people have this question in mind. There are
broadly two types of people: those who think wazifas don’t work at all and are
just a waste of time and those who believe that wazifas work every single time
and they somehow overemphasize its importance. The first category of the people
will not be our subject in this post as these people are more science-oriented
and only see physical reality as the real one. However, it goes without saying
that spiritual realm does exist and there is metaphysical reality to our lives
that cannot be ignored. Yes, wazifas do work but not for everyone. It
mostly depends on the person doing the wazifas and the intent behind this.
Purity of Heart and Intent:
Wazifas done with half-hearted intent and lacking in purity
of heart will fail 100 percent of the time. Why? Because Allah accepts only the prayers
that are offered with strong belief and trust in Him. In order to achieve purity of heart, doing
constant astaghfar is the key. Also, the positive emotion and its energy has to
be put when doing wazifas to make it work.
Repetition and our Subconscious Mind:
Have you ever wondered why people call for repetition during
wazifa spiritual practice? Repetition is a very powerful tool to impress
thoughts, desires and wish upon our subconscious mind that lies beneath our
conscious mind. Once repetition finds way within our subconscious minds, miracles
begin to happen and our prayers are accepted.
Seeking Only Allah’s Help:
A lot of people unknowingly attribute powers of other beings
other than Allah. It happens sometimes due to their sheer ignorance or
sometimes due to their religious, cultural teachings. In order to have wazifas work in our favor, we
should direct all our focus on the Oneness of Allah(SWT) and believe
subconsciously that there is no power other than Allah in the entire universe.
The Ultimate Goal To Achieve:
As Muslims, the goal of doing wazifas is not to achieve
petty gains or solve daily life problems. Doing wazifa is just a tool to
establish and strengthen our relationship with Allah and be a very good practicing
Muslim who prays five times a day, fasts during the month of Ramadan, gives
charity and feeds the poor and takes good care of orphans. In short, all
wazifas and spiritual practices should lead us toward that ultimate goal of
piety and goodness. May Allah be our guide!
