How Sarfaraz Ahmed Completed His Century Against Ireland

Sarfaraz Ahmed, our wicket-keeper batsman is all the rage after he put in life saving performances for the team in the world cup 2015. He was not selected in the initial 3 matches for fears that his career would be at risk if he did not perform well.

He quickly quashed such fears by putting in brilliant knocks with the bat and taking very crucical catches behind the wicket. It was hearsay that the team management and especially head coach Waqar Younis did not want this young prodigy to play in the world cup.

After Nasir Jamshed flopped badly with bat, the pressure on the team management to include Sarfaraz in the squad grew and they had to give him the playing chance. He proved all his detractors wrong and is now a integral part to Pakistan team's world cup chances.

How Sarfaraz completed his century and 101 not out feet against Ireland was largely due to cooperation that Umar Akamal showed on the pitch. Umar let him complete the century while he was batting on the nervus 90s while Sarfaraz returned the favor by allowing Umar to play the winning shot.

Pakistan is all set to face Australia in the quarterfinals on Friday. Sarfaraz Ahmed will feature the starting eleven for sure and we hope that he continues his great form with the bat and gloves behind the wicket. I think without Sarfaraz heroics we would not have been able reach the quarter finals.
