Thalassemia in Pakistan (Urdu)

Thalassemia is probably one of the most serious yet least discussed diseases affecting people in Paksitan and what's worse, government of Pakistan is still not taking the steps it is supposed to take in order to completely eradicate this life-threatening hereditary disease.
Doctor Abdul Qadeer Khan wrote an article a few months back and I would like people to get familiar with how bad things can be for someone battling thalassemia and it is also an eye-opener for people at the helm of affairs and people associated with healthcare in Pakistan.

I agree with Doctor Abdul Qadeer's assertion on how it is crucial to address the growing threat and most importantly, the government should do something about it on a war footing. We have to admit that we have been unable to create awareness needed to educate people about this life-threatening disease.
