ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) has started destroying centuries-old old sites and artefacts.
The Islamic State is reportedly using heavy machinery to knock down centuries-old Nimrud site which has one of the key sites in Iraq from a tourism point of view, but terrorists are now expanding their agenda in a completely new and unusual way.
Besides beheading and bomb attacks, there is now some build-and-destroy work going on in ISIS-held territories. The Jihadist faction has also destroyed a historical museum of Iraq, according to reports.
