Mumtaz Qadri has finally been hanged to death after he killed the former Punjab governor Salman Taseer on charges of blasphemy. With the hanging of Mumtaz Qadri, new debate has emerged over social media and mainstream media whether the decision was correct. The nation, once again ,is divided over the controversy. 

Check out what Ilyas Qadri, spiritual leader of Dawat Islami, is saying over the issue of blasphemy. Mumtaz Qadri belonged to the Barelvi sect and allegedly executed the murder after being influenced by a mosque-cleric.

While the majority of the public has hailed Mumtaz Qadri as the hero and protector of Islam but the more educated class in the country has voiced dissent against the murder of Salman Taseer. From a legal point of view, it is still not proven that former governor did blasphemy. It is the right of state to conduct and dole out such punishments and individuals should not take law into their own hands. The same opinion has been voiced by Ilyas Qadri in this footage.

There is a lot of debate over whether Mumtaz Qadri should have been hanged or not, but I got my hands on the news about the last words of Mumtaz Qadri from Adyala Jail. Mumtaz Qadri, who was hanged to death in Adiala Jail this morning, was allowed a brief meeting with some of his family members. Mumtaz Qadri reportedly spent the whole night reciting The Holy Quran. Jail authorities present at the cell told Mumtaz had been chatting to Jail guards and prayed for them too.

What do you think of Qadri's hanging? I am a bit double-minded because I have piles of murder case examples where we saw influential killers got off easy as the court did not dare to hang them. I think there is going to be a lot of questions regarding this particular case. One thing, justice should also be served but it should cover every single convict.





What about the case of Shahrukh Jatoi who killed an innocent boy in Karachi just because he was challenged after being stopped from molesting the slain boy's sister. Where is the justice? If we treat murders with different criteria, these things will keep happening.

Are you trying to make a lot of money? Why not put your trust in Allah for your worldly needs too? Making a lot of money isn't evil and we should remember that Allah has control over everything and if you wish to make a progress in our financial life we must develop a habit that forces us to trust in Allah for everything we do and want.
This dua is a surefire and I have seen it work powerfully. I get a lot of questions about how to end poverty and how to make money immediately. I usually recommend this dua as it has very powerful meanings (I have shared Urdu translation of the dua so you can get a better understanding of how powerful the words are). Ok I admit making money is not easy these days as bad economy has forced a lot of people to live below poverty line. But Allah has given us guidance in every aspect of life and there is no need to worry about our finances too.

Learn this dua by heart, which you can do in a matter of days I guess. I can add transliteration if you want me to as most of our Muslim brothers and sisters living abroad have a hard time understanding Arabic text.

So, the plan is to recite this dua after every prayer (Salah/namaza) and especially before going to sleep. When you close your eyes, keep reciting it and start imagining that Allah has answered your dua. This method is so powerful as it will train your mind to pray with strong desire. Remember our prayers are not accepted by Allah until they become our habits. This makes a lot of sense. There is a lot of chatter about how Brian Lara shut some Pakistani cricketers up by not accepting Islam and asking a counter question. And guess what? the sensationalist social media of Pakistan is making it look like "Brian Lara rejected Islam." This is insane and irresponsible. By labelling the whole thing "Brian Lara rejects Islam" we are actually sparking Muslim sentiments against the former West Indian batsman.

I am disgusted at the way we have been spreading this information. Lara simply asked what he had in his mind and we should behave like humans and true Muslims if we want to project Islam in its purest form. Pulling people's head off and taking our insecurities out on non-Muslims like this won't serve Islam's purpose.

I think our media reporting has a lot to answer for as we just try to be sensationalist to gain the views and audience which often forces us to project news in negative ways. First, it was electronic media that hijacked true journalism and now we are bombarded by an unrestrained social media warriors who will do all they can to drive traffic. 

Former Pakistani captain and star batsman Inzamam ul Haq has said he preached Brian Lara about Islam a couple of weeks ago during a gathering at Lahore and there was something about it he still can't forget.

Inzamam who has devoted most of his time to Tablighi Jamat and has been an active member even before leaving the sport, says he was passionate about preaching Brian Lara about Islam and he along with another religious figure gave Lara a brief talk. 

But a question posed by Lara "silenced everyone of us," Inzamam said during one of his lectures. 

Bravery Or Stupidity? Decide It Yourself

Is this stupidity or bravery? The Russian daredevils are scaling heights, yes literally heights not in the metaphorical sense and making records. Their first and foremost hobby is find the tallest sky-crappers in the town and climb them. Selfies and video recording is a must for sure. This crazy trend has gone viral among the daring individuals out there and they literally make your limbs shutter. It is just hard to watch do such stunts, let alone giving it a try ourselves.

One thing is for sure. These stunts and daredevils activities are absolutely illegal across the world and if caught red handed they can land in trouble and face prison in some country laws. However, they somehow sneak out and complete the craziest students. It is in the fashion but it is safer to stay away from such stuff unless you are exceptionally brave.

Though there have been no reported accidents as a result of these daredevil feets but certainly it is high risk activity and any error from the daredevil will only result in death. Imagine a guy falling off a skycrapper.I will say no to doing this wild and extremely dangerous stuff.
