Saulat Mirza hanging: New date to be issued

MQM activist Saulat Mirza's hanging might have been delayed, but the sword still hangs over his head as authorities have contacted anti-terrorist court to issue a fresh black warrant. The development has apparently ended rumours about possible pardon.

If this is true, as reported by Ummat Paper, then rumours surrounding possible dismissal of his hanging will die because the report says he may be hanged next week as authorities have got in touch with the anti-terrorist court for new black warrant.

Saulat Mirza was sentenced to death for murdering then KESC Managing Director Shahid Hamid along with his driver. Though his punishment had been declared years ago, political pressure, alliances in the name of peace kept authorities from hanging him and he was given preferential treatment in Central Jail, Karahchi, sources claim.

There have been a lot of speculations about whether he will hanged or not, but this past week has seen some major development and authorities seem bent on moving ahead with the decision -- the decision to hang Saulat Mirza.

It remains to be seen whether government further uses Saulat Mirza for evidence as news sources have already reported that Altaf Hussain might be booked in Shahid Hamid murder case as the killing, allegedly, was done at the behest of MQM chief (Saulat Mirza has confessed to that in at least two video statements so far).

Exclusive video of Rangers' raid at MQM Nine Zero

It's before dawn in densely-populated, heavily-fortified Nine Zero situated at Azizabad, Karachi. The stars are already shining and a well-coordinated Pakistan Rangers’s show in in town. From a tactical perspective, the show is nothing short of amazing as it happened calmly and peacefully with the successful capture of some of the infamous target killers like Faisal Mota, Umair Siddiqui and Ubaid K2.

And what a show it is. Dozens of Rangers mobiles, ranging from motorcycles to Toyota vehicles customized with LMGs, carrying as many as eight Jawans each, all engineered to knock down any enemy, take possession of Nine Zero and Khurshid Memorial Hall. The whole Karachi is watching on television and news channels have got yet another great story to talk about. Rangers Jawans storm the congested streets leading to the main entrance of Nine Zero, sending on-duty MQM workers worrying.

The operation was carried out so tactfully that there was no way any MQM worker manning check posts could have tipped off to those (criminal elements) hiding inside Nine Zero. There were a bunch of known target killers hiding inside the buildings of Khurshid Memorial Hall and Nine Zero.

Rangers cordoned off the entire area before moving into the main buildings. Fear hung heavy in the air, with workers on duty left scratching their head wondering what had gone wrong and how come their heavily guarded headquarter was raided. This was almost impossible to even think for most of the MQM activists because they have been told all their career that they will never be touched and they are in the safe hands when they are at Nine Zero. Rangers cut MQM security apparatus down to size and seized all the secret cameras fixed at different locations in and around Nine Zero.

Weapons were stashed inside the main buildings as Rangers personnel can be seen recovering a large cache of illegal ammunition. The worrying aspect is, most of the weapons were German, Russian and US made. Neatly-packed guns and rocket-propelled grenades, boxes of bullets and hand grenades, LMGs and G3.

Kashif Abbasi And Fawad Chaudhry Personal Attacks

Hurling personal abuses at each other is a common sight among Pakistani politicians particularly and general public at large. When we are criticized, we respond with raising questions over the one who criticize and lose common sense in the process for sure. The same situation happened between Kashif Abbasi and Fawad Chaudhry.

Character assassination is a tool used by people and even countries to achieve their vested interests.  Unfortunately, this shouldn't happen on a live television show. Kashif Abbasi is a senior anchor who runs a very famous political program while Fawad Chaudhry is a politician.

The situation turned into a personal episode of attacks when Abbasi was speaking as a guest in the television show. Chaudhry revealed that Abbasi would not have been able to marry if there was no Musharraf ere when the media was given great freedom.

Kashif married the female anchor Meher Bukhari some years ago. In response, he bashed Fawad chaudhry and his shifting loyalties with different political figures. These things should not happen on a television show.

Both went out of the civilized way of criticism and the anchor had to intervene rightly to keep the discussion general and away from personal attacks. I think these things should not happen and those with weak character resort to such cheap tactics of character assassination when they have no logical answer to criticism levelled against them.

MQM Nine Zero raid: Mubashir Luqman gets his hands on raid footage

Mubashir Luqman has startled MQM once again. The ARY analyst got his hands on the exclusive footage of Nine Zero raid conducted by Rangers two weeks ago.

Rangers' raid at MQM headquarter Nine Zero was highlighted in electronic, social and print media and there has been a lot of talk about how this all happened. There are a truckload of probing questions surrounding the raid and some people have even asked whether it is all just an act against MQM.

I will not go into how this all happened and why MQM is thinking so, but an ARY video has certainly grabbed my attention and I could not help watching it.

Mubashir Luqman came up with startling information and the program titled Khara Sach was full  of surprises and all the questions were posed directly to Altaf Hussain.
The video shows Rangers stormed the heavily-guarded headquarters of MQM and dismantled all the security system before heading into main buildings. Khurshid Memorial Hall was also raided and a handful of MQM activists were arrested.

The video shows workers being lined up by Rangers' masked gunmen and what came as the biggest surprise was that Amir Khan, former MQM Haqiqi leader, was seen roaming through Khurshid Memorial Hall and he looked unfazed. Totally unfazed.

I do not know why Mubashir Luqman is pissed at MQM chief Altaf Hussain, but it looks like he had had enough of speaking in favor of the party and he wanted to look to other avenues :P.

The information shared in Khara Sach was nothing new as it has been discussed over and over again

Brave Pakistani Girl Slaps Boy In London Train

This brave Pakistani girl made the headlines of social media and mainstream media. She slapped a misbehaving guy on the London train. The guy was obviously shocked and was not expecting such a reaction from the Pakistani girl.

The boy hurled verbal abuse at the guy which led to the slap.  Pakistanis are heaping praise on this girl for her brave act that will certainly prevent such incidents from happening on the train. It should be noted that the incidents of catcalling and verbal abuse at girls on London train are commonly reported.
The authorities have failed to curb this and this girl played her part in the offensive and unnoticed crime that especially men commit while travelling on the tramp.  Hats off to this lady. It was a mobile camera that recorded the incident. People are obviously scared of Pakistani people. Don't mess with them or they will screw you up.

Reason Behind Sohaib Maqsood Bad Performance Exposed

Sohaib Maqsood was far from average throughout the World Cup 2015. He never batted to the expectations. Touted as the replacement of Inzi, the Multan batsman could not show any sign of talent. Maybe, he was preoccupied with some other stuff.

The news came out today that he was busy in relationship with an Australian female who remained there wherever the team was and also met the flop batsman in the lobby of hotel. Now we can figure out what led to the dismal performance of this talented cricketer.

The priorities of our cricketers are often skewed and never in the right direction. The entire nation heap so much expectations on them but they fail to live up to the dreams of entire nation as always. The attitude and behavior that Sohaib Maqsood showed on the pitch was also questionable.

He never showed any character. When asked to wear helmet and field on the silly mid-on position, he showed reluctance to an extent that our great captain Misbah replaced his fielding position himself. When will these young and new cricketers stop bringing shame to the nation that is crazy for the game as hell.

I am sure Sohaib Maqsood will be kicked out of the squad. Let him play with the Australian girl and not the bowlers. He was not at all impressive, let alone the comparisons with great Inzi bhai.
