ISIS bent on destroying artefacts, ancient Nimrud site

ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) has started destroying centuries-old old sites and artefacts.
The Islamic State is reportedly using heavy machinery to knock down centuries-old Nimrud site which has one of the key sites in Iraq from a tourism point of view, but terrorists are now expanding their agenda in a completely new and unusual way.

Besides beheading and bomb attacks, there is now some build-and-destroy work going on in ISIS-held territories. The Jihadist faction has also destroyed a historical museum of Iraq, according to reports.

Dulhans Are for Sale in Open Market

We live in a strange world and some countries are even stranger with their culture and customs. This country has a strange tradition where brides are for sale in the open market much like any other commodity.

The male segment of the society throng this market to pick and choose their lifetime partner. See how females are presenting themselves as the candidate for marriage. It should be noticed that these all to-be-brides are younger and aged from 16-20 years old. The women aged 25 are considered too old to marry hence their face value becomes diminished.

Men in this open bride market are often on the lookout for strong and self-confident women who can carry their lives forward. What an amazing market this is. Wish we ever had such a market in Pakistan and marriage would no longer be a pressing issue in the country.

Selling of dog meat goes unnoticed in Karachi

By Ali Hasan
A private TV channel Aab Tak has unearthed an underground network in Karachi that is involved in selling Haram meat to people.

Abb Takk - Khufia - Episode 55 - (Dog Meat) by abbtakktv The meat sold in the name of Halal Gost could of animals other than cows, goats and chickens. Hold your breath. You might be thinking what more could they possibly sell you if they are selling meat other than mutton, beef and chicken? You guessed it right. Dead donkeys are not the thing of the past, we have plenty of stray dogs wandering around for no reason. They are a trouble to us and sometimes bite kids. So why not start selling their meat to unsuspecting citizens of Karachi and do our society a favor as it will give us a dog-free city (sounds horrible though). That is horrendous I know and you want me to stop talking about this issue.

Sell dog meat in low-income areas and you will get away with that. No worries. There are many instances when law enforcers crack down on people selling haram meat in the city, but this does not seem to eradicate the problem. The media may highlight these issues, but on surface, the network of these haram-gost sellers stay intact and it is business as usual for them.
