Pakistani psychologist talks about what women want

A well-known Pakistani psychologist has talked about what women want. Check out the video.

There has been a lot of discussion on what makes women different than men and there are about tons of material that claims to unravel this easiest mystery. Women want recognition. Women want appreciation. The guest is right and I am forced to agree with him on this one. But some of the points he made did not impress me at all.

The psychologist made several good points and he seemed to agree with the notion that women are being oppressed even in the civilized world, let alone third world countries like Pakistan, India and African region.

Women and men have been living in their distinct domains right from the start. It is not about human rights or women's rights. For instance, men have always ruled nations, taken part in wars, had the upper hand in innovating things. Give me a name of one female scientist. Again, it is not about women's rights, it is about respect and disrespect. Women need respect andIf you want to ram your thoughts down my throat, you can write a comment refuting why I am wrong and where I am not right.

Najam Sehti Reminds Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram Of Their Time In World Cups

Of late, Pakistan cricket team has been under fire for very poor performance in the first two matches of World Cup 2015. Some are busy bashing the cricketing abilities of the players while others jump on the same bandwagon of match fixing. Some others are calling for restructuring of domestic cricket in Pakistan.

This time ex cricketers like Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar have taken too hard on the current players which would be injustice in a way that if we look at their careers we will see the same blemish on them too.

Najam Shehti is right in recalling the old stories these cricketers faced. We remember the teams being welcomed with tomatoes at the airports when Wasim Akram captained the side. However, the national attitude towards poor performances of the team have always been same to say the least.

So it is not a new story. Najam Shehti has made a sane opinion the then cricketers should not come so hard on their present day colleagues. We remember Shoaib Akhtar being thrashed hard with the bat by Sachin Tendulkar and Sehwag in the world cup 2003.

Who can forget the 1999 World Cup debacle at the hands of Australia? The meager 133 run target was like a hen in the lion house, was not it? But we suffer from a short memory syndrome as a nation and a constant reminder will do the trick now.

I guess it is time that we give this team some time and breath to rebuild themselves and regain their form. For sure, our team has not clicked in the World Cup. However, the comparisons with 1992 World Cup should not be made since we had Imran Khan---a legendary captain to lead us then.

Pakistan Cricket Team Has 9 Parchi Players, Is it True?

Defeat after defeat in the World Cup 2015 has landed Pakistan cricket team into trouble across the country. The social media, mainstream media, ex cricketers, analysts are all enraged. Some are questioning the team selection while others are bemoaning the lack of interest from the players and team effort from the players.

While the concerns are there and rightly so but what about this shocking revelation that Babar Awan has come up with? According to his claim, there 9 D category players who are in other words Sifarshi(Parchi as casually known in Pakistan) and they draw handsome 1 lac per day.

If this report is authentic then of course it is a real cause for concern. The selection committee should be questioned and grilled over such a flawed team selection. If we dont cruise through the quarter finals then the entire selection committee will be fired but is it the real solution to the problem that Pakistan has long been confronted with.

If we cross check Babar's claim against the facts and figures of Domestic cricket, we find that Pakistan has the most talented and best performing boys on the team. It is enough to invalidate the claim this ex-law minister has leveled.

Sure Pakistan cricket need restructuring as Imran Khan pointed out the other day. But what if this team had win its games against India and West Indies, will there be any such shocking delivery of truth? Of course not. Let's hope Pakistan finds form and perform well in the next games.
