Sensationalism sells like a hot cake in Pakistan and when it comes to politicians, the media doesn't care what should be aired and what not. Media ethics clearly need to be retaught at our news channels. A female journalist by the name of Tayyaba Zia blames Asif Ali Zardari for getting involved in relationships without marriage.
This is horrible and appearing on a live news channel of Pakistan has certainly made us realize where we are heading.
If journalism means covering every single juicy stuff that brings in more advertisement revenue, then the media should stop being paragons of virtue and our sensationalism-crazy journalists should stop preaching the government about good governance and progress.
