Intelligence Recovers 2 Billion Rupees From Sharjeel Memon's House

The intelligence agencies raided the provincial minister of Sindh Sharjeel Memon's house and reportedly recovered 2 billion Pakistan Rupees from his residence in upscale Karachi area Defence. The minister is in Dubai while the raid took place but he has rubbished these reports. However, I think it did happen. The law enforcement agencies are tightening the grip around alleged money launderers and people involved in criminal activities. After raid on 90, model Ayan Ali's arrest, and Axact scandal, this story should not come as surprise but rather as a good augury for the country. There has to operation clean up both for criminals and financial corruption.

Dr Shahid Masood had already predicted that there would be more arrests and raids on influential people in the province. The Sindh government however seems reluctant to take any action against the thugs and criminals on its own. Rightly so. They cannot expose their own ministers and workers.
