Air Chief Marshal Flying F16

Pakistan Day was observed yesterday and the ceremony took place in a very flamboyant manner and it was the great treat to watch the ceremony yesterday. It was a bold step taken from the government and military to observe the day without considering the looming threat of terrorism that has haunted the country.

Under the leadership of General Raheel Shareef, Pakistan has risen again to face the challenges of terrorism from within and across the border. Many analysts believe it is largely due to the appointment of Nerandra Modi as prime minister in India. But I believe otherwise. The brutal attack on Army Public School that killed scores of innocent students and teachers has put the entire nation on the same page.

United we stand and divided we fall and rightly so. Pakistan will rise to the challenges it has been facing for over a decade especially after the war on terror began in 2001. The video which shows the Air Cheif Marshal flying a f-16 jet on the national day is certainly worthy of praise.

We are a very resilient nation and have always risen above the challenges in the past as well. Long live Pakistan.
